Terms of Service
Effective date: July 17, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Rajam (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is operated by Ajay Krishnan Professional Corporation, an Ontario corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Rajam is a web-based audio recording, organization, and sharing application. The Service allows you to record audio in a supported browser, organize recordings into collections, and publish individual recordings or collections through revocable public links.
3. Accounts
Rajam uses Ajent as its OpenID Connect identity and entitlement authority. Access requires your Ajent account to hold rajam_user or rajam_admin; Rajam does not provide a separate password or local role-provisioning flow. You are responsible for protecting any account and device used with the Service. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the audio recordings and other content you create or submit using the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to record, submit, and share it.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit content that infringes on any third party’s intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
6. Storage and Availability
Each recording is limited to 500,000,000 bytes. Rajam does not currently advertise a separate aggregate storage quota or paid plan. We may introduce reasonable service limits with notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. You should retain independent copies of irreplaceable recordings.
7. Offline Copies
An installed browser may keep queued or explicitly pinned audio on your device. Owner-scoped browser data is displayed or synchronized only while the matching owner has a valid Rajam session, but ending or rejecting a session cannot remotely erase every browser or operating-system copy. Use Rajam's device-data control and your browser or device controls when removing access from a shared or lost device.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate authenticated access if you violate these Terms. Rajam rechecks your Ajent entitlement at least every five minutes while you are online and immediately before public-link changes. A local session cannot outlive its one-hour Ajent access token; sign-out destroys the Rajam session and attempts to revoke that token. Contact us about export or deletion before access is removed where practical. Public links can be revoked independently.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
